[Rebekah had never been on an airplane. They weren't in wide use before she was daggered back in the 20s. It's an interesting experience, to say the least, especially when her first one is a twelve hour flight into Athens.

But it's worth it. She can't help but be in awe as she walks into the city with Stefan. It's so different than the last time she saw it.

They are settling into their hotel room, and she finds herself still surprised they've managed it, for now anyways. Nik will find them eventually.

It was still the 19th century, last time I was here. [It's an observation more than anything else.]

The games in 2004. And 1896, but that was also still the ninteenth century.

[Stefan enjoys the Olympics. It's a thing. He's been to almost every one, whether he felt inclined to feed on the spectators or not.]

They had the Olympics here again? [She asks, curiously. It's strange sometimes when she really stops to think of all she missed while inside that coffin.]

I don't know. [She confesses.] So much of the world has changed, it's hard to know where to start.

Good. I always prefer to take my time.

[She can't help but grin as she's tugged closer.] Good thing we have all the time in the world then.

Personally, I love to be spontaneous when I travel.

I've never really gotten the chance to be. Nik didn't like spontaneous.

He always was a bit of a stick in the mud.

He likes things to be his way, and that's it. But I don't have to follow his rules now.

I tend to like that option. Keeps things interesting.
