Wynonna had Peacemaker again, she could handle whatever was out there. Nicole was vulnerable, so he decided to have her back. She's is friend, after all. A real friend, who is actually trustworthy - it's been a while since he's had one of those.
Things resolve and everyone returns to the homestead and Wynonna looks a wreck. He hangs back, watching her while everyone else is watching Waverly and Nicole, and he's happy for the two of them. He really is. But he also doesn't miss that Wynonna's tears aren't exactly what he would call happy.
Following her out to the barn, he stops in the doorway. "What happened at the junkyard?"

Maybe you and that gun deserve one another
Doc's words vibrate in her ears over and over again. She can't forget them, even if she wanted to. And she wants to.
She's already reaching for a bottle of whiskey when Seth appears in the barn doorway. She should just get it out with, in case he decides to hate her too.
"I shot Holt Clanton in the back."

A soul, pulled out of one of the most dangerous places in Hell, without releasing everything else within it. Fortunately, this is the one area where Quentin's experience with sleight-of-hand magic came in handy.
The angel, Castiel, seems pleased with the results. The extremely tall rescue is currently stretched out in the guest bedroom of Kady's penthouse, unconscious and would likely remain that way for a while. The angel spent some time with him, then left, saying that he would return when "Sam" was conscious.
"I have to go take care of some hedge witch business." Now that the job was done, she needed to track down her second in command and see what's going on. Alice is the only one left in the penthouse, so she wants to make sure she's okay. "Are you good to be here on your own if he wakes up?"

Granted, at first it's a lot of crying. Zari isn't the only one, the whole ship is feeling the weight of Nate's loss, but the grief is too much for her to think clearly or even begin to formulate a plan. Sara suggests she go home and see her family - her family that's returned, thanks to Nate's sacrifice, but it doesn't feel right to revel in the return of her family when her heart is too heavy to truly enjoy it.
They would be there when she was ready for them. She's ensured that much. But first she needs to fix what she broke.
Ray agrees to help her, as any best friend should. First, they corner John and Nora, wracking their brain for anything they knew that wouldn't poorly impact Nate's softer heart. The Lazarus Pit was a big no, but there had to be other options. Constantine tapped out early, warning them that this was magic they shouldn't mess with, and for the most part, Nora agreed. Magic isn't the best option. But there might be ways that didn't involve magic.
Nora sent them to a woman named Donna Troy, a Themysciran who knew the old gods better Nora did. Donna said that Hades might be willing to accept a wager, but his terms would need to be followed to the letter. Any break in the rules, and they'd lose Nate for good. Zari and Ray are ready to pay any price, make whatever deal they need to, and when the time came, the price wasn't so much a price as a test.
A test of faith. A test that she could trust that Hades wasn't manipulating her and was giving her what she asked for. Faith is an easy thing to bargain on the outset, but as she stares at the exit, waiting patiently for a familiar presence to appear behind her, she can't help but calculate all the ways that this could go wrong.
But no matter what, she couldn't look back. She's come too far now to make the same mistake Orpheus did.

But the end all, be all? Not so much.
Today happens to be one of those moments, where the creature in question takes advantage of her smaller stature and tosses her into the nearest dumpster as it tries to make it's escape. The troll roars some of it's putrid breath into her face before carrying on it's way.
She should have just gone to her Physics 101 class instead of letting herself get distracted. College has proven to be more of the same, even if she's no longer in Mystic Falls anymore. Every so often, a wild monster will stumble onto campus, and she'll feel the need to take care of it, come hell or highwater - or in this particular instance, high-trash from the student center.
Footsteps sound on the other side of the alley nearby, as a blond head appears over hers. At first, she's surprised to see her - as close as she and Lizzie had gotten in their final years at the Salvatore School, they didn't wind up going to the same college. Lizzie being here has to be some kind of omen. She tries to muster the words in response, but in the end, all she can manage is:
"You're probably really enjoying this, aren't you?"
She can't be too friendly after all. Lizzie might think she's cursed.

And then there are some days where the whispers come a little too loudly. A soft plea for her to set them free, let them out, do what needs to be done. She knows, knows in her bones that she can't do what they ask of her, she won't.
But some nights she doubts herself just enough.
She gets up and wanders through her things, shuffling papers and spell ingredients until she finds a smooth stone with a piece of copper wire imbedded in it. She's not sure how many charges are left on this Sending Stone, but she hopes it's enough to at least reach Yennefer.
"Our cranky friends in the woods are getting loud again." She trips over that last word and makes a face. "I may already be drinking."

It's not quite full yet. The luminous ball in the sky still has chunks missing, but she can feel the impending event. Soon they'll resume their normal full moon activities, but there's a curious question that's gnawing in the back of her brain.
She knows that Tyler's relationship with his wolf is complicated - not his favorite. It's not something she truly understands because from the second she became human again she just wanted to be a coyote again. But she wants to understand, and more to the point she doesn't want their full moons to constantly be tying Tyler down and chaining him up.
It's not good for him, the fear and the fight. But if he says no, she'll respect it.
"How much control do you have on a full moon?"
She asks while they're lounging at their campsite near the fire. Tyler's roasting marshmallows while she's stretched out perpendicular to him, staring up at the floating orb in the sky.

He's never been able to linger anywhere long enough to make friends or set down roots. He's never really had a place to call home that wasn't a car or a motel room. All he's ever wanted is the chance to stand still. College has given him that, and then some. It's allowed him to recharge just enough that when the topic of spring break comes up he's tentatively considering doing what normal kids do and going away for the week.
The question comes on one of their date nights, when Sam's brought home take out from one of their favorite places and Allison is pulling up a movie:
"Have you planned anything for spring break?"

Fen Waugh, consort of former High King Eliot Waugh of Fillory, was sent to New York to check in with her good friend Julia and help her with some kind of magical shenanigan that required her Fillorian expertise. She hadn't even had the chance to change out of her courtly attire before she slipped through a hole in time into a different court entirely - but fortunately, her dress blends in quite well in 1520 as opposed to 2020.
No, the truly unfortunate thing is that she's landed in the court of a particular English king, famous for his wives, and he's looking to add Fen to his collection. Fen greatly opposes this plan, and is currently on her way to try and escape, though she has no idea where she can actually escape too.
She needs to find a disguise. She needs to find a bunny. She doesn't know why Penny dropped her here, but she's certainly going to have Words for him later.
As she ducks through a door to try and escape some of the king's guards, she bumps the shoulder of someone as she passes. "Oh, I'm so sorry," she says softly, before turning to take in the stranger's appearance.
She catches sight of the cloak around his shoulders, and she reaches forward as she asks, opting to ask forgiveness, rather than permission.
"May I borrow this?"

Especially when he has the answers to questions that only people who know her well would know. It's kind of unnerving, actually. Unfortunately for her and Diego both, the only temporal magic user in town is a massive cat lady.
Not that Kady minds cats, in general, but there are ten cats in this barely big enough New York apartment and this may, just maybe, be too many cats. She scoops one tabby off her chest before moving to perch on the edge of one of the chairs.
"So, Dorothy? What have you got?"
"Well, he's definitely been touched by some kind of time magic." Dorothy squints Diego, one cat tucked under one arm. "I can at least tell that much."

They told her she would wake up.
Of course this means the curse remains something that could be triggered again at any time but he's lost so many people already, he had refused to add her to it. Hopefully she'll understand.

You would think, at this point, that she would be used to Oliver's hypocrisy. That she would be used to the idea that his misguided attempts to protect her were always going to conflict with what she wanted. With what she was ready to take on.
Laurel wanted to do this with him. To use these ... skills of hers to her for something more than what she's been given. To avenge her sister. To do better for this city. But if Oliver won't let her, then Oliver will get to find out he isn't her only option.
At some point, she lands in her car. She drives to her destination almost on autopilot, and before she realizes what's happening, she's knocking on Diego's door. Maybe her path was always destined to end here.
Re: laurel/diego
If there's something Diego understands, it's the desire to fight, the desire for revenge, the desire to prove yourself. To make something of yourself. He had been the only one of his siblings to keep fighting after they left the academy. They all made fun of him for it, but it helped keep him sane.
He's not expecting anyone -- his siblings wouldn't bother knocking anyways, so he grabs one of his knives as he makes his way to the door. But his tension melts away a little when he opens the door and sees Laurel there.
"What are you doing here?"
