It's about the third time Tyler's transformed on this particular day, and it's almost nightfall now. He's lying on the floor, panting and wincing in pain. Tears sting his eyes. For not the first time, he finds himself unsure of whether he can really do this -- if he's really that strong.
When everything hurts like this, it can be hard for him to remember why he's doing this -- what's at stake. It had been such a relief to think he'd never have to go through this again. But it comes with a cost. The floor of the cave is cold and uncomfortable, but he doesn't feel like he can get himself off of it just yet. Everything hurts.

Besides, he's still chained up. It's something he's insisted on. Not only for Bo's safety, but anyone else's too. If he got loose while he was a wolf -- he's not going to risk that.

Bo pulls back as well, her eyes still giving a faint blue glow, before that fades as well, and she turns back to him. She's a little hesitant, given the fact that he pulled away, not the other way around, but he doesn't seem like he's running for the hills.

Yet.

"Feel better?"

[lockwood]

He nods a little. "I do. That's pretty crazy." He's never seen a power work like that before...but he's also never met a succubus before either, so maybe that's it.

She nods. "It is. But it's what I do. It's a part of me, whether I like it or not."

[lockwood]

He nods a little, he can get that. "You can't help what you get born as."

[dontkanyeme]

"Nope. We just have to learn to deal with it, or make it work to our advantage." With most things fae, there's a good side and a bad side.

[lockwood]

"Healing people, and yourself, I imagine that's a good way of using it your advantage." Tyler can't imagine. Being a wolf was always more of a burden than anything else.

[dontkanyeme]

She nods. "Plus ... various personal benefits." Like loads of super hot sex, but that might be treading more than a little into awkward territory. "And now that I know what I am, I have family. I have people who are like me. I've never really ... belonged before."

[lockwood]

He nods a little. "That must be nice." Tyler...doesn't really have that. He's never felt a part of the Mystic Falls crew, and he never really had a pack as a wolf and now that he's a hybrid, he's especially alone.

[dontkanyeme]

She nods. "It is. I never really thought I needed it before. Now I'm surprised by how much I do."

[lockwood]

"Guess sometimes you don't realize how much you need something until you have it."

[dontkanyeme]

"Or until you lose it." Which seemed to be the case with Tyler, at least.

[lockwood]

"That too." Tyler never thought about his free will much before it got taken away from him.

[dontkanyeme]

She nods. "C'mon. We should get some blood in you."

[lockwood]

He nods a little. "Yeah, we probably should."

[dontkanyeme]

She pushes herself to her feet, then extends a hand to him to help him up. Her form of healing won't hold him forever, and he'll be better off with the blood.

"There should be some in the cooler still."

[lockwood]

He takes her hand, pulling himself up. Everything's still sore, but he'll feel better with the blood.

"Good."

But first, he's going to walk over to his bag, pulling out a pair of pants to slip on. And then he'll go to the cooler to get out some blood.

Bo stays back for a minute, rearranging the chains so that they're out of the way, and letting Tyler have a little bit of privacy to clean up. Once she's finished, she'll make his way back over.

"I think I'm going to head back into town tomorrow, and pick up some things. Want to take a break and come with?"

[lockwood]

He nods. "I could use a break."

[dontkanyeme]

"Great." She's already making a mental list of the supplies they'll need in her head. "Hopefully it won't take too long, but if you want to spend a while down there, we can make a day out of it."

[lockwood]

"It might be good to make a deal of it." Give his body more time to recover, if nothing else.

[dontkanyeme]

"Okay. We'll just hang out for a day. No turning, no talking about turning, no crazy supernatural shenanigans of any kind."

[lockwood]

"I don't remember the last time I had a day without at least a little supernatural shenanigans to them."

[dontkanyeme]

"Well, we will at least try. It can't be too hard."

[lockwood]

"Right. We can try, see what happens."

[dontkanyeme]

There is still the chance that this will end in disaster. Bo's Fae life is just as complicated as Tyler's vampire one, but they can definitely try.

"Figure out what you want to do, and we'll make it happen."
