It had seemed so easy, in theory, that she could kill Malvaldo and she would finally be free to move on with her life. But what does that mean anyway? She's dedicated centuries to trying to get her revenge and now she's supposed to do what exactly? She isn't sure. She couldn't stay when Richie asked her to, she would never be what he had wanted from her, what he needed from her.
She cannot be the goddess countless of culebras pray to, looking for salvation. She can't help them. She can't help anyone. She's confused and lost and she's angry because even now she still feels trapped even though her prison is much bigger than she used to be. She hears whispers about how the Geckos are running things, the trouble they were having from some of the other Lords. Personally, she wishes she could have just burnt it all to the ground.
Things are never that easy.
Santanico. Kisa. Whoever she is hard to define but she does not forget the people who have helped her. So when she hears whispering about plans to take out the Geckos she finds her way back in their sphere once more, having killed off a group of culebras who had been sent as assassins. She drops the stakes she had been using to fight with, smirking a little, wearing that familiar mask, as Seth walks towards her. Her more snake like qualities fade away and her wings retract back into her body.
"It wouldn't do for the famous Gecko brothers to be killed by a couple of assassins, would it?"

Things between him and Santanico have always been complicated, one way or another. Showing overt gratitude for something like saving his life might make it seem like he's happy to see her or something equally similar, and can't have that. At all. Ever.
That being said, part of him is actually happy to see her. Not just for saving his ass (again), but also for the fact that while he may be running a culebra outfit with his culebra brother, he actually knows jack shit about culebras, which is considerably less than what his brother thinks he knows about culebras, and he actually is one.
Go fucking figure.
Still. Stoicism and annoyance and par for the course with Seth when it comes to Santanico (or Kisa or whatever she's going by now), so once the surprise at seeing her fades away, he presses his lips into a thin line and holds his hand up to her to help him up from where he, in true Seth Gecko fashion, had landed on his back when he ran out of bullets.
"Look what the cat dragged in."
That's probably the closest she'll get to a thank you.
no subject
Which might be why she wasn't adverse to the idea of coming to help him. She owed him right? He had taken her call, helped her, and she doesn't like oweing anyone anything. Not anymore. She's still figuring out who she is. Not Santanico but Kisa, now.
Whoever that is. That girl died a long, long time ago but she's trying to find her again.
"Please," She smirks, making her way towards him. "You've been trying to find me so you can spare me the surprise."
no subject
"And looks like I have succeeded." He gives her a thin smirk. "If I had known all I had to do was almost get myself killed, I would have pissed what's left of the Nine Lords off sooner."
No, he wouldn't have. That's mostly sarcasm because he does have some kind of a self-preservation instinct, but he knows she sees his point.

"Are you complaining?"
To be fair, following these visions he'd been having and finding that they led him to something called the "Titty Twister" is a little disappointing, but at the same time, it's the biggest lead they've had in a while and Sam wants answers more than anything else. So he'll shoot Dean a look, and his brother'll shrug.
"No. Just there are plenty of those north of the border."
Sam rolled his eyes a bit at that, before starting to make his way closer. "I'm just following the visions, alright?"
"Yeah. Cuz that makes me feel better." He rolls his eyes for a moment, before sighing and making his way forward. "Well, at least they hopefully have a good show."
Sam takes a deep breath, and goes to follow him in. He hopes he's right about that on some level. Otherwise, this could just as easily be a mess.

Santanico frowns at his words, even if she knows he has a point. It's risky, but she doesn't want to stay here any longer either. So it's worth the risk.
"You worry too much, Carlitos. He'll help us."
She's so close to freedom, she can't give up now.
no subject
He means the girls. Sam makes a face. Dean is all too pleased with that, and he'll happily get them both some beers while Sam just lets his eyes scan the room and take things in. There are some things that seem incredibly out of place in a strip club - some of the carvings on the wall in particular - but he tries not to think about it too much.
Maybe they're just in an old building.

Her eyes scan through the crowd, looking for the one she's been trying to draw here.

Malia's spitting blood as she shifts back, and making a face as she does. Normally she can stand the taste of blood, but there's something about a vampire's that just makes it ... wrong. Like it's gone bad from bad meat. Malia wouldn't actually disagree with that sentiment, given what said vampire had been about to do. Bad meat, bad man and she really doesn't feel all that bad of severing his head from his shoulders with her teeth.
(There had been a moment where she thought she wasn't going to have to. Tyler was talking to him and Damon walked away, giving the appearance of being talked down. But something changed in those few feet and when he charged, so did Malia.)
She's pulling her shirt over her head as the body desiccates in front of her, and she almost gags at the sight. Dead bodies don't bother her. Something looking like it's rotting when she had that in her mouth? That gets to her. Her shorts follow not long after the shirt before she finally glances over to Tyler, anger and feral instinct fading to something a little more human and compassionate.
"You okay?"
no subject
Just like it'll continue being one. He knows the others aren't going to respond well to this turn of events. But Tyler would be lying if he said he was sad Damon Salvatore is dead. Because he really, really isn't.
He should of stayed out of Mystic Falls and never come home, he thinks briefly before turning his attention back to Malia. He nods a little.
"I've survived worse."
no subject
They don't have to talk about emotions if they don't have to. Or the fact that Tyler clearly knew this guy.

If part of her wanted to save her aunt, would that be so wrong?
It would. She knows it would be. But it's hard to shake. She can try to make her own mark but her family is a part of her, she can't escape them.
But they have bigger things to worry about. Like why was Derek a teenager suddenly?
They've stopped on the way back to Beacon Hills at a hotel for the night (luckily, this motel is nothing like the last one they stayed in) and Stefan's room was next to her and Lydia. Her best friend kept making pointed comments and looks about that fact but Allison didn't particularly care and knocks on his door, waiting for him to respond. It'd be nice to have someone to talk to, and at least he doesn't have any personal issues with her aunt.

Castiel doesn't know how to fight the government and Mary's contacts are all long gone. They need help, and since Crowley is being less than helpful, he knows he has to turn to allies that Sam had requested they leave out of this. It had been six months. Allison had to have noticed that Sam wasn't returning her calls.
He hopes that she hadn't assumed he was dead. Though with the Winchesters, that can be a reasonable assumption to make.
So for now they're sitting at the diner, waiting for Allison and Lydia to arrive. What he's hoping for, she may not still be able to help him achieve, but at least four heads are better than two.
no subject
So when she got the call from Castiel? She was honestly relieved. It might mean some answers, if nothing else.
Lydia rubs her arm in support before they sit down into the other side of the booth.
"She's been worried sick for months."
Allison shoots her best friend a look and Lydia returns it with an innocent face.
"What, it's true."
Allison frowns, mostly because Lydia is right.
"So what's been going on?"
no subject
"We should have known better, but it's been too long now." Mary glances between them for a moment, before adding a bit of a gentler touch. "I'm Mary, by the way." Then there's another beat as she tries to figure out how to phrase it. "The boys were arrested. For ... trying to kill the president."

When there's a knock on her door she gets up quickly to answer it. She steps aside to let the other woman in.
"You must be Bela Talbot."

She looks her up and down for a moment, curiosity in her features as she makes her way inside. She hasn't heard much about her from Marina, but she certainly heard enough. It also must involve quite a bit of trust if Marina put the two of them in touch.
"Charmed, I'm sure."

Julia doesn't tend to make good first impressions, but she doesn't particularly care either, all things considered.
"I hear you're good at finding impossible things."
And more importantly, taking them.

It's not that they don't want to help the people there, it's just that the town's only really active when the Heir is active, and when the Heir is active - well, they don't really need hunters. Sam isn't here on hunting business, however.
He's here because he's running from hunters so he goes the last place she'll expect him. Finding Shorty's seems like a good place to lay low for a bit, and at least get something to eat. He slides his massive self onto the nearest bar stool, before reaching for the menu and addressing the person next to him.]
Any recommendations?

/tentatively tests out waverly in npc form
Still, when he and Sam are driving through Purgatory and wind up stopping there for the night (Sam insists on sleeping in an actual bed, the wimp), Dean wanders into a bar to wind down from a drive, and there she is. He's not sure if it's good karma or bad, but that's not going to stop the grin that stretches across his face as he makes his approach.]
Wynonna.
[Waverly frowns from her spot behind the bar, looking the guy over for a moment, before pointing to him with one finger. "That guy actually looks happy to see you. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"]
Re: /tentatively tests out waverly in npc form
it was years ago. so wynonna is surprised when he walks into Shorty's. not bad surprised just...surprised. she never expected to see him again. but she didn't expect a lot of things that happened.]
Dean.
[She gives a small wave before turning to Waverly.]
Good thing, we had some fun a few years back -- can't blame him for remembering me fondly.
